Meet the Artist

Hi! My name is Lorien, and I'm the artist behind Plagueground Designs. I am 24 years old, and am queer, autistic, & chronically ill/disabled. Art has always been a big passion of mine -- I love to experiment with different mediums, from painting, to sculpture, to upcycling, to jewelry crafting. Outside of creating, I enjoy listening to metal & goth music, experimenting with makeup & fashion, playing video games, as well as spending time outdoors!

About Plagueground Designs

Plagueground Designs is inspired by everything cute & spooky! My art is primarily inspired by pastel goth, "morute" (morbid-cute), kawaii, and cyberpunk aesthetics.

This business originally started in 2020, selling crystal jewelry, and other spiritual goods. Over time, as I found my own sense of fashion & art style,  branched out into art, jewelry & fashion accessories. My main goal with this business is to connect with other people who love everything weird, spooky, and cute!

The most important facets of my business are integrity, inclusivity, quality, & sustainability:

• Integrity: Acting in accordance with my values is very important to me, and I always try to move with full honesty,  accountability & morality. If there is a delay with an order, issue with a product, etc. I always try to have full transparency when reaching out.
• Inclusivity: I always want to prioritize inclusion of marginalized groups! I ALWAYS want those who are queer, people of color, disabled, neurodivergent, & plus size, (& more!), to feel included in both my activism & art. 
• Quality: I value quality craftsmanship, aiming to create pieces that will last you years -- all jewelry is made using stainless steel materials, and is always tested for durability. 
• Sustainability: I try to make sustainable & environmentally-friendly choices whenever I can! I use recycled materials for both in person & online sales -- bags, shipping packages, bubblewrap, etc.
